Burley Developments
Burley Developments have consent to build on the old allotment site in Skipton.
Here’s a few reports on Burley Developments’ activities:

Of course Burley may not develop the site at Skipton themselves, in nearby Scalebor Park they achieved planning consent after stretching government policy on greenfield site permission to its limit, but after commencing building, they promptly sold the site to another developer, details HERE.
The finished houses, despite having up to 6 bedrooms each, had the massive total of 0.6 parking spaces per dwelling, that's 6 spaces per 10 houses, so no problems parking then.
Burley Developments decided that they didn't want to build any affordable homes, and instead gave the council an unknown sum to escape from providing such housing - I wonder who that reminds us of? - and so it appears that none of the 139 homes built there were 'affordable.' Details below:

By another coincidence, the advisors to Burley Developments are one GVA Grimley, the advisors who told Skiptonians that they were clamouring for multi storey car parks and 6 storey tower flats after what can only be described as a travesty of a consultation.
In the spirit of fairness, it should be known that whilst no 'affordable' homes were built at Scalebor Park, the developer DID build a sports pavilion.
CDC have already backed down from challenging Skipton Properties because of any legal costs involved, so should any developer find that building costs are higher than originally thought, perhaps because the ground is wet by being in a high flood risk area, then Carleton Road residents might find themselves the proud owners of a skateboard park, who knows? They certainly won’t retain their allotments ‘though!
Burley Developments, who are possibly going to develop this site, unless they sell it on again, have promised to go along with any conditions concerning wildlife on the site.
Any conditions that are concomitant with building 41 houses and roads etc. on this small site of course.
